This is an unusual story to tell and I will tell it. This is not an average space saga, it is not anything you've ever heard before either nor is it a story that you'e read before or anything that would sound familiar. So let me begin right at the beginning. In the beginning of the universe there was nothing. Moments after the big bang, dark matter and dark energy came to be. Stars, gases and planets and so on. Now to set the stage. Dark Matter and Dark Energy are really just forces of the universe. Dark energy pushing galaxies into the universe expanding and dark matter keeping all the galaxies tied up together. But in the story things will turn out differently. Let me not spoil the story, maybe it's not such a good idea to start at the beginning, but let's start at a place where we are all familiar with. A place called home. Located in the Milky Way galaxy we have a tiny little solar system and in this solar system we have a planet called earth. I'm an artist with words, not book covers... Android Captain Lancieta Steegle, and an engineer from Earth named Mannie end up relying on each other for more than survival when a war is thrust onto the people of Earth. In a desperate attempt to deal some kind of blow to the Halgred, the Andromedian collective okayed a Shadow Operation to attack the Halgred Homeworld. The weapon was illegal, a bio-weapon designed to sterilize and weaken their almost otherworldly physiology. When this weapon is instead redirected to Earth by the Halgred King, Draconisis, those whom survive undergo a change. As they wake up, the people of Earth are greeted by horror of their new animalistic physiology, and for some, unimaginable abilities. The 20 or so surviving Androids of the once thousands-strong crew of the Dreadnought-Class battleship do their best to make amends and help the humans of Earth adjust to their new Bestial Planet and the even more dangerous intergalactic community. This story is "Complete" as in the last chapter was written and it's gone through about 3 re-writes and 4 rounds of editing since. Very few stories are ever finished, as we know, because there's always something we think can be or should be changed. However, I've learned that the best I can do is get it to the point where I feel comfortable with someone else reading it. Otherwise I'd never have posted anything anywhere.
