FALAK:
In a village where every girl must marry at the age of fifteen, a girl finds herself in a challenging situation, as no one is willing to marry her due to reasons unknown to her and her father. Her stepmother made sure to flaunt and taunt her at every chance, showcasing her daughters' husbands and children. Despite this, she remained undeterred, focusing on studying for her WAEC exams, hoping to find a way to escape to university.

At seventeen, she is in grade 11 and faced with the decision to pay for the WAEC exams if they have the money or wait another year if they don't. The school fees are free, which is why she's still attending. Life doesn't always grant one's desires, and she eventually dropped out when her father stated he couldn't afford to pay for her WAEC, forcing her to abandon her dreams.

In a palace where he must learn the etiquettes of being the next king and is next in line to the throne of Kano state, Shaddad faces immense expectations. He has been groomed on how to be a king and act accordingly. He has absorbed these teachings and conforms to people's expectations.

At the age of twenty-seven, he holds a bachelor's degree in business, preparing to manage the family business before ascending the throne. Yet, that's not all; he is also a skilled cardiologist. Despite possessing status, looks, fame, intelligence, and wealth, he remains indifferent to the allure of a lavish lifestyle. The world of fame only brings him pain, though he does not complain, having nothing to lament. People perceive him as having a disorder due to his limited interactions.

What transpires when the vivacious Falak encounters the stoic Shaddad? Can she break through his emotional barriers, or will she be overwhelmed? Will she get a glimpse of his true self, or will she remain lost in the darkness? Will her unconventional love for him deepen, or will it forever remain brash?
